Making faces

What a productive week/weekend I had. My lovely husband and son spent some time at Ikea and we got a new desk for my work space.

I had previously been sewing on a fold out trestle and found it a little difficult as it moved every time I would have the sewing machine going. It was doing my eyes in...So now we have a lovely table that not only works but looks good too! YEAH...

(Oh I use the mirror to watch the T.V behind me not to check myself out..lol!)

This weekend I was also busy making faces for my berry, apple and pear's I'm trying to get a few made for the November markets. Still have so much to do...Ahhhhh....

I also had the chance to arrange my threads.

On the family front Harrison has been sick with tonsillitis and high fevers...so feeling very sorry for himself...I have been having much trouble juggling work and home life the last few weeks...

Getting mobile...

I had a lovely surprise in my Etsy inbox advising that I was in another treasury...Thanks to Cattingles

I'm in love..... these mobiles are fab and I'm exspecially liking the birdie and flowers mobile from emiliefriday she has this great wedding cake topper so very cute.

Harry's Burrito..

Today I spent the day making Burrito a fab pattern kit I got from Dear Fii at the Stitches and Craft Show.

He was so much fun to make and a easy pattern to follow....SO much I have to learn about pattern writing :)

It was a great to be making some things for Harry Today.

If you think Burrito's hands are looking a little big well thats becasue I traced around Harrisons hand and used the out line to make Burrito's hands.... I also stitched a little momento for Harrison when he grows up...

I think it turned out great Fii has a great choice in fabrics and Harrison like's his new friend...

I thought I would just show you a sneek peek of some of my new boy softie range robot (which I'm still ironing out the chinks) and Monster.... I love "Bot" the robot as he has a little door that opens to show his heart "Ahhhh"...

Another Treasury...WHAT THE....

Well yes it's happened I have been picked (by the lovely Maddo) to be in another Etsy Treasury.... And look who has made an appearence none other then Mr Bright Bear Softie......

The best thing about this Treasury is that all items are from Australia that's right the DUST team strikes again.

I was intending on writing every ones name down and placing them in a bowl then was going to get my little man Harrison to draw the winner (would of made for a cute photo) by he was a little tired and went to bed early tonight so I didn't get a chance.
