Whats in a name

Last night I was working on some new examples for my customised name blocks and name bunting.

I love the colours in these blocks so much that I think I will have to make Harrison some of these.

I'm finally on track with preparations for Mathilda's Market this weekend. I'm so looking forward to meeting some more ladies that share the same passion as I do and also catch up with the ladies that I already know and have been chatting with...

Good Luck to everybody who has a stall at Mathilda's and happy shopping to those of you who are going to stop by don't forget to come and say hello.

DO YOU HAVE A GOOD MEMORY

I remember playing the memory game when I was a little girl.

If only my memory was as good now then it was back then.

This is a great little game to play with your little ones and Harrison just loves playing with the discs.

There are 12 discs and they come in a handy felt pocket with instructions.

What a photo

On Friday Harrison was amongst some gorgeous children lucky enough to be in the Madi & Me's photo shoot...The kids looked just lovely in Sarah's beautiful clothes and the kids had a lot of fun. It was the perfect day to have the photos taken and a lot of effort was made by Sarah to make sure all the kids were happy.

Amanda Ayling photography took all the photos. She was amazing to work with and really engaged with the children to get the best out of them all..Even Harrison who wasn't having much of it..
Amanda is a natural light photographer based in Sydney she specialises in modern, contemporary portraiture for babies, children, families and expectant mums. So make sure you check out her other wonderful photos on her website.
Now back to sewing.

FIT FOR A KING

I spent the day making Children's Crowns. I have had this on my list of things to do for some time now. I used my little fellas head as mold for the size and designed it around how I wanted it to sit on his head. It was really fun to make. I got hooked and made a few more with many different designs.
The Completed Crowns in all there glory.

My darling boy Harrison playing outside with his Crown.

Stay turned many more things in the pipe line.......

Jumping Hoops

Today I spent the day in bed. Yes still sick but I was also able to complete a design I have been working on for a little while now. I had these embroidery hoops in my craft corner for a little while now but was never happy with any of the designs I had so finally today I came up with something I'm happy with...
I still think it looks a little unfinished so I think I'm going to add a few little birdies to just finish it off. They will be for sale as a custom order piece at the Markets and will also be avaliable on line soon.
I have such cute designs ready for little boys so stay tuned to see what I unveil.

New Look Mathildas Market

Mathilda's Market has had a face lift. Check out the new look. I was in love with the old look so it may take me a little time to get use to it. But I love the bright colours they used. Very eye catching.

Preparations have been crazy here in my house hold for the November Markets. I have been struck down with a case of tonsillitis as well as a middle ear infection and I can no longer talk....ahhhh.

I have so much still to do and nothing has been accomplished over the last few days as I've been in bed feeling sorry for my self. My darling husband has taken a few days off to look after our full of energy son Harrison whom never sits still and is always on the go...

I'm sure that most of you are aware of Mathilda's Market by now however if you are not and have little ones it is a must see market.

At Mathilda's Market you'll see the funkiest and most gorgeous of outfits for the kids, chic bedrooms decor and furnishings, bright and brilliant toys, must have accessories, pretty and practical bags and shoes, dreamy vintage-inspired creations, handcrafted musical instruments and jewellery, fabulous dress-up costumes, striking linen ...and so much more! So don't forget to visit GIFTS CREATED at Mathilda's Market on Sunday 1st November, from 9am - 1pm at St Ignatius Collage Riverview, Tambourine Bay Rd, Lane Cove.
So back to bed for me now I'm going to TRY to do some work tomorrow.
