Cubby House

Cubby houses as a kid were something that was naturally built. My cubby houses was where I felt safe and cocooned. My father built me one when I was young it was amazing it was so big my mother even made me curtains to hang in the windows. Some of the other cubby houses I remember are the ones of course made out of sheets and blankets over tables where I would fill with lots of pillows and blankets making it all snugly and cosy...
Well you need not wait any longer for a sneak peek of the cubby I have just made for Harry and Lochie (This is to be a X-mas pressie for Granma hope she likes it) and even better news I'm in the process of putting together a pattern along with a ready to buy and create version for my markets...
The front was made to look like Granmas house with matching topiary trees and all.

Harrison just loves playing with the flowers in the flower box under the window...On off on off...
Please any feedback or suggestions would be great as this is an exciting new range and I would be interested to know what you or your Children would like to see on the NEW Gifts Created Cubby houses...

Caught in a Stitch

Well it has come to an end and what an end it is.

(My stall at the show- My little "wonderland")

I had the time of my life and found myself laughing in stitches most of the day with some of the most wonderful and inspiring group of indie crafter's I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Being a newbie to the scene I found a group of ladies more then happy to take me under there wings and guide me in many wonderful and exciting directions.

I couldn't wait to see Audry and Maude as after having met them at the 2008 Stitches and Craft Show and the inspiration and guidance that they were more then willing to share, I just had to thank them and show them what I had been up to over the last year.

I was positioned next to Kate from Please Eloise whom I have been chatting along with on the etsy dust forum and she was a delight to met and I couldn't help but purchase a little something for my niece from her.

I must say I did support a lot of local talent and will blog about my finds over the next few days.

The count down has began

Well I'm certainly counting down the sleeps untill the Sydney stitches and craft show begins .

I have a to do list that is just getting bigger and not smaller every day.

I have now finished all of my mushroom families and had a chance due to the weather man to get some fresh air and take some lovely photos.
This gives you all a sneek peak on what to expect from Gifts Created this August.

Madi & Me Banner

Ok my friend Sarah has been working hard on her new business called Madi & Me she named it after her daughter who is only 3 weeks older then Harrison and cute as a button.
Any way I'm so looking forward to seeing her stall at the Mathildas Market this Sunday.
She is selling Childrens clothing and bibs and they are just beautiful. She asked me to make a banner for her market stall.
This is the finished product and I just love it.

The materials are mostly Michael Miller Fabrics along with some Dick and Jane. The fabric's just suit her products.

So if your looking for somthing to do on Sunday come down to Lane Cove and check her out.

Tell her I sent you LOL!
